Heartwood Ltd offers thermo treated wood that is produced using vacuum technology.
As the result of vacuum technology the dampness of the thermo treated wood is between 4 and 6.5% and that is for 2-3% less than has thermo wood that is treated using Finnish thermo treatment technology.
Thermo treatment process using vacuum technology differs from other technologies with the fact that this process lasts for 72 hours while heat treatment following Finnish technology takes 12 hours and the size of the vacuum cell is 5-6 m3 in comparison with 20 and more cubic meters. As a result you get more qualitative thermo treated wood with long lasting color gamut that can be achieved only using this technology.
